As Of Counsel at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A., Stuart T. Cox, Jr. concentrates his practice in all aspects of trusts and estates law, including asset analysis and preparation of a full range of estate planning documents. He has extensive experience in the areas of lifetime and post-mortem estate tax planning, federal and state taxation of gifts and estates, fiduciary income taxation, and related real estate, corporate and commercial law.
Early in his career, Mr. Cox was a shareholder of Wilentz, serving as co-chair of the Trusts and Estates Group.
Mr. Cox is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has been recognized in the New Jersey Super Lawyers publication since 2005. Since 2025 Mr. Cox has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America list for Trusts and Estates.
