Roy H. Tanzman is a shareholder in the Real Estate group at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. He focuses his practice on government relations and real estate law. For nearly 40 years, he has represented individuals, developers and property owners throughout the state of New Jersey in a variety of issues that impact their businesses.
Mr. Tanzman was honored with the 5th Annual Judith A. Hoffman Humanitarian Award by the American Cancer Society at the 36th Annual Night of Wine & Roses in 2022. In 2021, Rutgers Hillel honored Mr. Tanzman and his wife Brenda Tanzman as “Visionaries in Partnership” at the 2021 Annual Gala for their significant and long-standing contributions to that institution. From 2011-2017, Mr. Tanzman served as Hillel Board President. He currently serves as its Chairman of the Board of Governors. In 2019, Mr. Tanzman was honored by the Anti-Defamation League New York/New Jersey (ADL NY/NJ) with the Securing Justice Award. The award was conferred to Mr. Tanzman at the 2019 annual Securing Justice Awards Dinner in recognition of “his enduring commitment to securing justice and fair treatment for all.”
Since 2012, Mr. Tanzman has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America list for Real Estate Law.
