Meghan Chrisner-Keefe is Counsel on the Firm’s Employment Law Team. Meghan focuses her practice on assisting both employees and employers in navigating nuanced employment situations. Meghan is skilled at supporting employees through difficult employment situations, as well as counseling employers on issues that arise in the workplace. She is also a contributor to the Team’s Employer’s Legal Resource Blog.

Meghan has significant experience representing clients in employment matters, litigating cases brought under state and federal law, including the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), the FMLA/NJFLA, the New Jersey Wage Payment Law, and the ADA. Meghan’s practice includes handling all aspects of litigated and negotiated matter from inception through resolution or a determination on the merits. 

Meghan regularly provides advice and counsel concerning executive employment contracts, non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and separation agreements She is particularly proficient at strategizing with clients and providing a framework of how to approach their employment situation and achieve their goals. 

Meghan is involved in her community as a current member of the Fair Haven Fields Natural Area Advisory Committee, former Borough Councilwoman, Girl Scout Troop Leader, and volunteer at the annual Firemen’s Fair.

Prior to joining Wilentz, Meghan practiced at a boutique employment litigation firm where she gained an in-depth understanding of employment law. Meghan served as Law Clerk to the Honorable James M. Blaney, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County. Meghan earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and received her B.S. from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
