Wilentz Attorneys Obtain Network Reinstatement For Medical Equipment Provider

Wilentz Pharmacy Law Attorneys, Angelo Cifaldi and Joseph Carlo, successfully appealed a network termination for one of their New Jersey healthcare provider clients. After several discussions and a hearing, Mr. Cifaldi and Mr. Carlo were able to convert the termination to a Corrective Action Plan, wherein the healthcare provider would remain in the insurance network, subject to certain conditions.

Such a plan is a win-win for both sides. From the client’s perspective, it allows them to remain in the network and continue to operate and serve their patients. From the insurance company’s perspective, it reinforces future compliance and, in some cases, permits the insurance company to impose additional obligations supplementary to its standard Provider Manual or agreement.
