Wilentz Serves as Bond Counsel to The Board of Education of the Township of Florence

Tony Solimine, Esq. and Tim Middleton, Esq., of the Wilentz Public Finance Group, served as bond counsel to The Board of Education of the Township of Florence in the County of Burlington in connection with the authorization and issuance of $3,509,000 Energy Savings Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2024. The bond proceeds will be utilized to finance various energy conservation measures throughout the school district. The energy savings generated from these improvements, together with all applicable rebates and the expected savings from power purchaser agreements that were previously negotiated by Claudia Guglielmo, Esq. and by Kaylee James, Esq., will be sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds. In sum, this financing will result in upgraded facilities with no new tax impact on the residents of the School District.
