Daniel S. Bernheim, 3d, Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Philadelphia office, was a featured speaker at the National Business Institute (NBI) seminar titled “Litigating Civil Cases in Pennsylvania From Start to Finish” on Tuesday, April 8th. This comprehensive seminar is designed to help attorneys confidently apply the rules and navigate the civil litigation process from the initial filing through trial. Mr. Berheim presented on “Voir Dire and Jury Selection” which covered preparing for Voir Dire, investigating jurors, reading personality types and non-verbals, building rapport, introducing case information, asking the right questions, eliciting bias and obtaining cause challenges, getting quiet jurors talking, and effective use of peremptory challenges.
