Shareholder Donna Jennings will present “Hot Topics in Land Use,” the panel will discuss a range of timely topics, including updates related to affordable housing, and religious land use issues.

Counsel Stephanie Gironda will present “Sign on the Dotted Line: The Status of Restrictive Covenants in Employment and Settlement Agreements in 2024.” The panel discussion will address the current legal status of noncompete, nonsolicitation, confidentiality, and nondisparagement provisions in New Jersey employment and settlement agreements and offer successful negotiating strategies.

Of Counsel Andrew J. DeMaio will moderate “Fiduciary Litigation Update,” the panel will discuss recent developments in the area of fiduciary litigation. Not only will the panel address recent cases, but also pending and proposed legislative changes that will impact the area.

Shareholders Michael F. Schaff and Grace Mack will moderate and present on the panel entitled “Hot Topics in Health Law for All Attorneys: How to Play with a Full Deck When the Stakes are High.” The panel is composed of experienced health care attorneys and will also feature presenters from the NJ Department of Health, including Assistant Commissioner Stefanie Mozgai and Executive Director Michael Kennedy. Panelists will address health law topics and examples that lawyers should consider when representing physicians and other health related clients, such as: HIPAA, antikickback and self-referral laws, private equity, investment in health care, medispas, corporate practice of medicine restrictions, change of ownership disclosure obligations, duty to report to licensing boards and other regulators, restrictive covenants, and more.
