Wilentz Shareholder and Litigation practice Chair Ed Kole will moderate the Third Annual Federal Pro Bono Institute: The Essentials of Handling a Pro Bono Matter and the Benefits of the Re-Entry Program in the District Court of New Jersey and the presentation of the Hon. Jerome B. Simandle Award. Mr. Kole will be joined by a distinguished panel of speakers comprised of Hon. Freda L. Wolfson, Chief Judge of The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Hon. Lois M. Goodman, U.S.M.J., United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Trenton, Hon. Edward S. Kiel, U.S.M.J., United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Newark, Hon. Karen M. Williams, U.S.M.J., United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Camden, Deirdre Cooney, Esq., Judicial Law Clerk to Hon. Lisa A. Firko, J.A.D., Javon Jennings, Re-Entry Program Participant, Lawrence S. Lustberg, Esq., Gibbons, P.C., Newark and Professor David White, Director, Dispute Resolution Program, Seton Hall Law School. Presentation of the Hon. Jersome B. Simandle Award to the Hon. Joel B. Rosen (retired) is scheduled to commence at 1:45 pm.
The Third Annual Pro Bono Institute is presented by The Federal Bar of New Jersey, The New Jersey Institute Continuing Legal Education and The United States District Court. This program has been approved by the Board of Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.1 hours of total CLE credit, New York CLE 2.0 credits professional practice and Pennsylvania CLE 1.5 substantive.
