Christopher D. Hopkins to Present at “Real Estate Transactions From A to Z” National Business Institute Seminar

Wilentz attorney Christopher D. Hopkins will present “Structuring Real Estate Purchase Agreements to Avoid Unforeseen Consequences and Litigation” at the National Business Institute seminar entitled “Real Estate Transactions From A to Z.” Mr. Hopkins will discuss the importance of checklists for drafting and negotiating agreements, the role of representations and warranties in narrowing liability, key contract contingencies and timing constraints, and the importance of well drafted default provisions.

Targeted to real estate practitioners, title professionals and loan officers, the two-day seminar will provide an overview of key facets of real estate transactions, including due diligence, land use surveys, commercial real estate financing, title insurance, and closing and post-closing procedures.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 14.40 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.20 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism.
